लोगों का कहना था कि पानी के लिए कॉलोनी पूरी तरह टैंकर पर निर्भर हो गई है।

जलदाय विभाग के कर्मचारियों ने जल्दी ही पानी पहुंचाने का आश्वासन देकर मामला शांत करवाया।

इलाके के लोगों का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा। करीब 1 घंटे तक जमकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया।

Jaipur Nagar Nigam: पार्क में लगे झूले टूटे पड़े है, जिसके कारण बच्चे खेल नहीं पाते हैं। वहीं हरियाली गायब होने से लोग घूमने तक नहीं आते हैं।

शहर की कॉलोनियों में बने नगर निगम के पार्क अब सार्वजनिक स्थानों के बजाय निजी संपत्तियों में तब्दील होते जा रहे हैं। निगम की अनदेखी का खामियाजा स्थानीय निवासियों को भुगतना पड़ रहा है।

जयपुर पैलेस होटल के सामने लक्ष्मी मंदिर के पास स्थित पार्क देखरेख के अभाव में बदहाल हो गया है। पार्क की दीवारें तोड़कर निजी उपयोग में लिया जा रहा है। पार्कों का मूल उद्देश्य ही खत्म होता नजर आ रहा है। 

इस अव्यवस्था का सबसे बड़ा नुकसान बच्चों और बुजुर्गों को हो रहा है। न टूटे झूलों पर बच्चे खेल सकते हैं, न गंदगी के बीच कोई सैर कर सकता है। पार्कों में खुलेआम कपड़े और बिस्तर सुखाए जा रहे हैं।

पार्कों की हरियाली गुम हो गई है। पार्क में जगह—जगह कचरे का अंबार लगा है। पार्कों की हालत देखकर कोई भी यहां आना तक पसंद नहीं करता है। देखरेख के अभाव में पार्क में लगे पौधे तक सूख गए हैं। 

पार्क में लगे बोर्ड पर कचरे न डालने व फूलों को न तोड़ने सहित कई हिदायत लिखी गई हैं, लेकिन इसके बाद भी पार्क के हालात खराब है। ऐसा लगता है मानों सालों से पार्क की निगम के जिम्मेदारों ने सुध तक नहीं ली है।

स्थानीय नागरिकों ने इस समस्या को लेकर कई बार नगर निगम में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई, लेकिन अब तक कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाया गया है। निवासियों ने मांग की है कि पार्कों की मरम्मत कराकर उनकी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जाए।

West Bengal Violence: Governor Visits Murshidabad Defying CM&#39;s Appeal

Recent violence in West Bengal has created a political storm. Ignoring Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee&#8217;s appeal, Governor C.V. Ananda Bose visited violence-affected areas of Murshidabad and Malda on Friday. He aimed to meet affected families in relief camps and understand the situation on the ground. Meanwhile, the state BJP has requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Bengal and respond to Mamata Banerjee&#8217;s accusations, in which she blamed Shah for the Murshidabad violence.



Governor Bose met victims in relief camps in Malda and assessed the areas affected by the violence that erupted over the Waqf (Amendment) Act. He also discussed riot control measures with district administration officials. According to Raj Bhavan, Bose&#8217;s visit aims to uncover the truth behind the violence. On Thursday, some displaced families were brought to Raj Bhavan by BJP state president and Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar, where they met with the Governor.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mamata Banerjee&#8217;s Request Ignored</h2>



Mamata Banerjee had requested the Governor to postpone his visit. She stated, “Peace has been restored, but the administration is still working to regain public trust. I could have gone, but I will go at the right time. I request the Governor and others to wait a few days.” Despite this, Bose decided to proceed with his visit.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BJP Calls for Amit Shah&#8217;s Intervention</h2>



Meanwhile, the BJP is planning a visit by Amit Shah. A BJP leader stated, “We have requested the Home Minister to come to Bengal and respond to Mamata&#8217;s accusations. We hope he will come soon and bring the truth about the Murshidabad violence before the public.” However, the date and location of Shah&#8217;s visit are yet to be decided. The BJP wants Shah&#8217;s visit to precede Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#8217;s proposed visit, where he may attend a GAIL event in Ranaghat, Nadia, this month. The BJP believes that if Shah clarifies the situation first, and then Modi confirms his stance, it will significantly impact Mamata.

West Bengal Violence: Governor Visits Murshidabad Defying CM’s Appeal

Jaipur: Despite the scorching heat and rising temperatures in the state, the High Court on Thursday ordered the suo moto registration of a public interest litigation (PIL) for the lack of measures to save people&#8217;s lives from heatstroke, despite a court order issued 10 months ago.



Expressing strong displeasure at the attitude of the officials, the court stated that the court&#8217;s directives issued last year were shelved. This raises questions about the rule of law. Officials consider themselves above the law, but the court cannot sit idly by. Humans cannot be treated like animals, nor can the excuse of a lack of funds to save lives be accepted.



The court directed the Chief Secretary to form a coordination committee to implement court orders and to create an action plan to prevent heatstroke. Notices were issued to the Union Home Ministry, the Chief Secretary, the National Disaster Management Authority, and 10 officials from the central and state governments, seeking a response. Further, all collectors were asked to submit compliance reports by April 24 regarding the directives issued to save lives from heatstroke.



Justice Anoop Kumar Dhand, on Thursday, took suo moto cognisance of the heatwave and climate change and ordered the registration of a public interest litigation. The court noted that temperatures in several districts of the state reach 50.5 degrees Celsius, and the situation is worsening daily.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heatstroke Deaths a Serious Public Health Challenge</h2>



The court described deaths due to heatstroke as a serious public health challenge. It stated that officials cannot be allowed to shirk their duties. Considering the inaction as serious negligence, the court said that if the orders are not complied with, strict action will be taken. The court noted that no action plan was made, nor any effort was made, for 10 months after the court order.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Court: Why Not Issue These Directives?</h2>



-Plant trees on both sides of roads and develop green public spaces. -The Heat and Cold Wave Prevention Bill, 2015, should be enacted and implemented as an effective law. -Workers working in the open should be allowed rest from 12 pm to 3 pm. -ORS, aam panna (mango drink), and drinking water should be provided for humans and animals. -Arrangements for heatstroke treatment should be ensured at health centres. -Alerts should be issued through SMS, FM radio, mobile apps, and social media.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Court Seeks Cooperation From</h2>



The court asked Additional Solicitor General R.D. Rastogi, Additional Advocate General Bhuvnesh Sharma, G.S. Gill, Kapil Prakash Mathur, Sandeep Taneja, and Vijayan Shah, along with advocates Sushil Daga, Kunal Jaiman, and Tribhuvan Narayan Singh, to cooperate with the court in this matter.

MP Nursing Scam: 70 Doctors and Nurses Served Notices, Principal Removed

MP Nursing Scam: The Department of Health and Medical Education has taken major action in the nursing scam. Radhika Nair, the principal of the government nursing college at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, has been removed from her post. Leela Nalvanshi has been given the responsibility of principal in her place. Charge sheets have been issued against more than 12 nursing staff and doctors from GMC, along with 70 people across the state, and departmental inquiries have been ordered. These include the doctors and nursing staff who were part of the teams verifying nursing colleges. 



Many colleges were given reports stating they were suitable, even though they did not meet the criteria. Later, an investigation by a High Court committee found these colleges unsuitable.



It may be noted that in May 2024, the CBI declared 169 unsuitable nursing colleges (MP Nursing Scam) in the state as suitable. This included four colleges in the capital city that lacked their own building, labs, and hospitals. The High Court questioned the investigation and ordered a review of all suitable colleges. The government subsequently cancelled the recognition of 66 nursing colleges.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Allegations of Protecting the Guilty</h2>



Ravi Parmar, the state vice-president of NSUI, has alleged an attempt to protect several accused officials and employees. A year ago, the then Medical Education Commissioner issued notices to approximately 110 nursing staff and doctors, but charge sheets have only been issued against 70. A warning has been given that if impartial action is not taken in the case and all the guilty are not punished, NSUI will launch a state-wide agitation.

The 31-year-old Travis Head represented Royal Challengers Bangalore before being picked by SRH for IPL 2024. He is the 99th batsman in IPL history to score 1000 or more runs.



So far in 32 matches, he has scored 1014 runs at an average of 37.25 and a strike rate of 174.06. By the end of his 32nd match, he had faced 578 balls and has scored one century and seven half-centuries in the IPL. In the list of highest run-scorers in IPL history, Virat Kohli leads with 8252 runs in 258 matches. Shikhar Dhawan is second with 6769, and Rohit Sharma is third with 6684 runs in 262 matches.

SSC Exam Calendar 2025-26: Revised Calendar Soon

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is reviewing the recruitment exam calendar for the year 2025-26. A revised exam calendar will be released soon. This calendar will be published on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. All candidates should keep an eye on this website.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Several Exam Notifications Yet to be Released</h2>



Previously, the commission released the calendar for recruitment examinations in 2025-26 in December 2024. This included dates for notifications of several recruitments, including Delhi Police Constable recruitment, CGL, CHSL, Delhi Police CAPF SI recruitment, MTS Havildar recruitment, SSC GD Constable recruitment, Stenographer recruitment, and Translator recruitment. According to this calendar, the advertisement for the Selection Post Examination Phase-XIII 2025 was to be released on 16 April 2025, but it has not yet been released.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Which Government Job Recruitment Exams Will be Held This Year?</h2>



The calendar will be released for Delhi Police Constable Executive recruitment, SSC GD Constable recruitment 2025, CGL recruitment 2025, MTS Havildar recruitment 2025, CHSL (10+2) level, Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Male and Female, Delhi Police examination, 2025 for Constable (Driver), Delhi Police examination for Head Constable (Ministerial) recruitment, and Delhi Police examination for Head Constable recruitment.

– The advertisement for SSC GD Constable recruitment 2025 will be released on 11 November 2025. The exam will be held in March or April.

– The notification for MTS Havildar recruitment 2025 will be released on 26 June. The exam will be held in September/October 2025.
