<p>राजधानी रायपुर (capital Raipur ) के डीकेए हॉस्पिटल के पीछे का गार्डन कबाडख़ाना में तब्दील हो चुका है। इस गार्डन की अनदेखी (Due to neglect of this garden) से बहुत दिनों से यहां पर खर-पतवार का कब्जा है। इसके अलावा लोगों ने इसे कचरे से भर दिया है। यहां गंदगी का आलम है। बच्चों के लिए बनाए गए इस गार्डन की सुंदरता बिगड़ गई है। कुछ सालों पहले यहां पर बच्चों के खेलने के लिए झूला और खेलने के अन्य उपकरण लगाये गए थे। अब यह पूरी तरह से उजड़ चुका है। गंदगी पैर पसार चुकी है।</p>

<p>Upon arriving in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought detailed information about the recent criminal rape incident in the city from the Varanasi Police Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, and District Magistrate. He instructed them to take the strictest possible action against the culprits and implement appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future.</p>

<p>Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his arrival at the event venue in his parliamentary constituency. This is the Prime Minister&#8217;s first visit to Varanasi after the completion of 8 years of the Yogi Adityanath-led UP government. On this occasion, the PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 44 development projects worth ₹3884.18 crore.</p>

Amarnath Yatra 2025: New Guidelines Issued


<p>Amarnath Yatra 2025: The sacred Amarnath Yatra will commence on 3 July and conclude on 9 August. This year, the pilgrimage will span 38 days. According to guidelines released by the Amarnath Shrine Board, in addition to individual pilgrims, groups of up to 30 pilgrims can register together. Group registrations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 14 April to 31 May. Groups of five or more pilgrims can register together. Over 50 groups from Gwalior alone participate in the Amarnath Yatra every year.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Eligibility Requirements</h2>



<p>One member of the group can register the other members as the group leader. A medical certificate is mandatory for registration. A registration fee of ₹250 will be charged per pilgrim. Individuals under 13 years of age, over 70 years of age, and pregnant women over six months will not be eligible for group registration. Applications for group registration will be accepted via post at: Chief Executive Officer, Amarnath Shrine Board, 2nd Floor, Block 3, Engineering Complex, Rajbagh Srinagar. Application forms must be sent via post by 20 May for group registration.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fee Structure</h2>



<p>A postal fee of ₹50 will be charged for groups of 1-5 members. Similarly, ₹100 for 6-10 members, ₹150 for 11-15 members, ₹200 for 16-20 members, ₹250 for 21-25 members, and ₹300 for 26-30 members.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">With Groups Departing Annually</h2>



<p>Dr. Sanjay Pandey, convenor of the Bam-Bam Bhole Seva Dal, stated that this will be their 25th Amarnath Yatra. Last year, 428 pilgrims travelled with their group to see Baba Barfani. This year, they have already received 550 forms and expect around 600 pilgrims to participate. Mahendra Bhadkariya and Bharat Dhingra, patrons of the Baba Barfani Har Har Mahadev Committee, stated that they have been taking groups to see Baba Barfani for nearly 20 years. This year, approximately 80 people will depart from Gwalior on 30 June.</p>

<p>On Thursday, there is a possibility of a heatwave in Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas.</p>

<p>Jaipur: The spell of dust storms and rain continued in Rajasthan on Thursday. The effect of the western disturbance will be visible in Rajasthan for two more days. However, from 13 April, the weather in most parts may remain mainly dry, and the temperature may increase by 2-3 degrees. After this, on 14 April, the temperature will increase again in the state, and there is a possibility of a heatwave in many districts.</p>



<p>The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for strong winds and dust storms in Rajasthan due to the effect of the western disturbance for two days. According to the Meteorological Centre, there is a possibility of dust storms and rain in 20 districts today due to the effect of the western disturbance.</p>



<p>On the other hand, a rain alert was issued for 12 districts of the state on 12 April, and a yellow alert was issued for 10 districts. On Thursday evening, too, changes in the weather were seen in many cities. The disturbance&#8217;s most significant impact is likely to be in the next two days.</p>

Rajasthan: Pension worth lakhs may stop, proposal sent to CM office – know why


<p><strong>Rajasthan News:</strong> The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has begun preparations to stop the pensions of lakhs of beneficiaries (single women, elderly, and differently-abled). A proposal has been sent to the Chief Minister&#8217;s Office. If approved, the pensions of lakhs of people could be stopped. The proposal suggests that if a beneficiary pays ₹48,000 or more annually on electricity bills, their pension should be stopped. The Chief Minister has also been consulted regarding beneficiaries with annual electricity bills of ₹24,000 or more. A government survey report indicates that the annual income of lakhs of pension recipients exceeds the prescribed limit.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">91.85 Lakh Beneficiaries Receiving Pensions</h2>



<p>The government currently provides pensions ranging from ₹1150 to ₹1500 per month under the Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Samman Pension Yojana, Mukhyamantri Ekal Nari Samman Pension Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Vishisht Yogyajan Samman Pension Yojana. The total number of beneficiaries receiving these pensions is 91.85 lakh.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">No Decision Yet</h2>



<p>Social security pensions are for the poor. We are considering beneficiaries with annual electricity bills of ₹24,000 or more. The proposal has been sent to the CMO for consideration. In Bihar, lightning strikes and collapsing walls and trees killed 61, while in Uttar Pradesh, storms and lightning resulted in 22 deaths. This natural disaster not only impacted human life but also destroyed hundreds of acres of crops. Both state governments have announced compensation for the families of the deceased and instructed immediate action for the treatment of the injured.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Rain Turns into Calamity in Uttar Pradesh</strong></h2>



<p>On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh also experienced severe weather. High winds and torrential rain caused widespread devastation in several districts. Lightning strikes killed 22 people, while hundreds of acres of wheat crops were ruined. Standing crops were submerged, causing significant losses for farmers. This disaster further complicated life in rural areas.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Compensation Announced in UP, Demand in Bihar</strong></h2>



<p>Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the tragedy. He announced compensation of ₹400,000 for the families of the deceased and instructed immediate arrangements for the treatment of the injured. The CM ordered officials to visit the affected areas, assess the damage, and prioritize relief efforts.</p>



<p>Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life caused by this natural disaster. The CM instructed the administration to ensure proper treatment for the injured and expedite relief efforts in the affected areas. Tejashwi Yadav posted on X stating that he was heartbroken by the more than 50 deaths in Bihar due to various incidents of storms, rain, lightning, and falling trees and walls. He expressed deep condolences to all the deceased and prayed for strength for the affected families. He demanded that the Bihar government provide appropriate compensation to all affected families and compensate farmers for their ruined wheat crops.</p>

In Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, the storms, rain, and lightning not only claimed lives but also devastated homes, crops, and livelihoods. From a tree falling on a temple in Nalanda to a wall collapsing in Jetipur, these tragedies caused unbearable pain to many families.</p>



<p>The administration has begun relief and rescue operations in the affected areas. Efforts are underway to restore essential services such as electricity, water, and roads. However, this disaster has again raised the question of whether our preparedness to deal with such natural disasters is adequate.</p>
