It is reported that the ICC issued USACA a 12-month governance notice following the T20 World Cup, which expires next month. According to reports, if USACA fails to make necessary changes in its leadership, it could face suspension. A decision may be taken at the ICC&#8217;s meeting next month.</p>

<p>Following the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2025 in July, the ICC sent a notice to USACA. The ICC also formed a normalisation committee to oversee compliance and reforms, citing administrative inefficiencies. According to a TOI report, the ICC sent a team to Los Angeles this month. There, they met with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Continuous Warnings Issued</h2>



<p>Some senior officials from the normalisation committee and USACA were also present at the meeting. According to reports, a senior official stated that despite repeated warnings, the situation has not improved. The ICC has made it clear that changes in leadership are no longer a matter of debate, especially considering cricket&#8217;s return at the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Some Officials Unwilling to Resign</h2>



<p>The ICC team reportedly asked several USACA officials to resign. While some are willing to do so, others are not. Sources cited in the report state that USACA has yet to make a decision on the matter. Some reports suggest that several USACA officials may resign soon. It should be clarified that no official statement has yet been released by the ICC on this matter.</p>

<p>Weather Update: A low-pressure area is expected to form over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal region from Monday, leading to intensified weather activities from Tuesday. This will bring widespread rainfall across the state, including Jaipur. </p>



<p>According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, the impact of this weather system suggests that the monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next week. A heavy rain alert has been issued for more than 15 districts including Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar, Dausa, Bharatpur, Baran, Banswara, Udaipur, and Sirohi on Tuesday. </p>



<p>Furthermore, at 5 am, the Meteorological Department issued a double alert for 8 districts of Rajasthan.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Winds to blow at 30-50 KMPH</h2>



<p>According to the Meteorological Department&#8217;s prediction, on Tuesday, July 1st, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rainfall with one or two spells of heavy rain at isolated places in and around Bharatpur, Dholpur, Alwar, Dausa, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur districts. Along with this, there is also a possibility of lightning and strong surface winds with speeds reaching 30-50 KMPH. An orange alert has been issued for these six districts by the Meteorological Department.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Yellow Alert for 2 Rajasthan Districts</h2>



<p>Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for two districts of Rajasthan. Under this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong surface winds at isolated places in and around Baran and Kota districts. The wind speed is also expected to reach 30-50 KMPH during this time.</p>

<p>According to Meteorological Department data, people in Jaipur experienced intense humidity over the past 24 hours. Some districts, including Kota, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Hanumangarh, and Sikar, experienced light rain during the day, but this did not provide much relief from the humidity. Churu set a new record for monsoon rainfall. The highest rainfall in a single day was recorded in Churu. 85.1 mm of rainfall was recorded in Churu. This is the highest one-day rainfall recorded in June so far. Previously, 81.9 mm of rainfall was recorded on June 24, 1988. In addition, 18.6 mm of rainfall was recorded in Sri Ganganagar, 33.5 mm in Fatehpur, 1 mm in Karauli, 4 mm in Jhunjhunu, 17.2 mm in Pilani, 19.8 mm in Sikar, and 16 mm in Pali.</p>

<p>The maximum temperature recorded was 34.1°C in Jaipur, 38°C in Jaisalmer, 38.3°C in Bikaner, 36.7°C in Sriganganagar, 35.3°C in Churu, 40.3°C in Sri Ganganagar, 37.6°C in Loonkaransar, 35.6°C in Pilani, and 37.1°C in Barmer.</p>

Kerala live-in couple allegedly killed two newborns; man brings remains to police station


<p>A shocking case has emerged from Thrissur district, Kerala, leaving the entire area stunned. Bhavin (25) and Anisha (22), a live-in couple, have been allegedly accused of murdering their two newborn children. The couple allegedly killed the infants immediately after birth and concealed their remains for years after burying them. The case came to light when Bhavin went to the Pudukad police station late Sunday night and handed over the bones of two newborns in a bag to the police.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the Full Story?</h2>



<p>According to the police, Bhavin and Anisha had been in a live-in relationship for the past four years but were not married. In 2021, Anisha gave birth to their first child, whose death was reported as natural during childbirth. This child was buried in the Amballur area near their home. Eight months later, Bhavin exhumed the bones, claiming he was planning a funeral.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Second Child Killed in 2024</h2>



<p>In 2024, Anisha gave birth to a second child. This time, according to the police, Anisha allegedly strangled the baby to silence its cries and handed the body over to Bhavin for burial. Bhavin also buried this child but later retrieved the remains.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Confession Under the Influence</h2>



<p>Around 12:30 am on Sunday, Bhavin, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, went to the Pudukad police station and confessed his crime, handing over the bones of the two newborns in a bag. He stated that the children were his and Anisha&#8217;s. Preliminary forensic tests confirmed that the remains belonged to human newborns. The police took both into custody and registered a case against them for murder, destruction of evidence, and concealment of evidence.</p>

<p>Police suspect that increasing tension in Bhavin and Anisha&#8217;s relationship brought the matter to light. Sources suggest Anisha was planning to marry another man, evidence of which Bhavin had discovered. In anger, Bhavin exposed Anisha&#8217;s alleged crime by handing over the children&#8217;s bones to the police.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Investigation Underway</h2>



<p>The police have begun investigating both burial sites—one a public crematorium and the other private land. Forensic experts and a medical team are investigating the cause of the children&#8217;s deaths. A senior police officer stated, “We are investigating all aspects. It is not yet clear whether both deaths were homicides or natural.”</p>

<p><strong>Monsoon Updates:</strong> This year, the southwest monsoon arrived eight days early and covered the entire country nine days ahead of schedule. The normal date for the monsoon to cover the entire country is 8 July. Due to the early arrival of the monsoon, India recorded 7% more rainfall in June, the highest in the last four years. Farmers have also benefited from the monsoon&#8217;s grace. This year, the Kharif sowing has increased by 1.3 million hectares compared to last year. However, rainfall remains below normal in several areas.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">136% More Rainfall in Rajasthan, 42% in Madhya Pradesh</h2>



<p>According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) data, 11 states, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, recorded above-normal rainfall in June. Ladakh experienced 305% more rainfall than normal, while Rajasthan saw 136% more. Twelve states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and West Bengal, recorded normal rainfall. However, some eastern and northeastern states, including the capital Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, are still awaiting good rainfall.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heavy Rainfall Predicted for Several States in the Next Two Weeks</h2>



<p>According to the IMD, three weather systems from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea are boosting monsoon activities in eastern, western, and central India. This is likely to cause heavy to very heavy rainfall in many parts of central and eastern India, including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, over the next two weeks.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1.3 Million Hectares Increase in Sowing</h2>



<p>The early arrival of the monsoon has also increased the area under Kharif crop sowing. By 20 June, Kharif sowing had been completed in 137.84 lakh hectares, which is 13 lakh hectares more than last year. Last year, sowing was done in 124.88 lakh hectares during this period. Rice sowing has also increased by 58%, reaching 13.22 lakh hectares.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Yamunotri Highway Closed in Several Places, Char Dham Yatra Suspended for 24 Hours</h2>



<p>Heavy rainfall has closed several routes, including the Yamunotri Highway, stranding pilgrims. Over 1000 pilgrims are stranded in the Jankichatti, Phoolchatti, Kharsali, Rana Chatti, and Syana Chatti areas on the way to Yamunotri Dham. Considering the heavy rainfall alert, the Char Dham Yatra was suspended for the next 24 hours on Sunday. Instructions have been given to stop pilgrims in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and Sonprayag.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Several Labourers Missing After Cloudburst</h2>



<p>Eight to ten labourers working on a hotel construction site near Silaiband between Paligaad Ojri Dabarkot on the Yamunotri Highway are reported missing after a cloudburst. The administration team and SDRF have launched a rescue operation to search for the missing labourers.</p>

<p><strong>Russia Ukraine War:</strong> Russia launched its largest air attack on Ukraine overnight between Saturday and Sunday. Over 500 drones and missiles were fired at Ukraine. Ukrainian officials reported that the Russian Army launched 477 drones and 60 missiles at Ukraine overnight. A Ukrainian pilot was killed in the attack, and an American F-16 fighter jet (F16) was also destroyed. This is the third F-16 jet Ukraine has lost in this war, a significant blow to both Ukraine and the United States. The F-16 is a multi-role combat aircraft supplied by the US to Ukraine.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Entire Ukraine Targeted</h2>



<p>The Ukrainian Air Force, via Telegram, stated that the F-16 pilot shot down seven air targets using onboard weapons before their aircraft was damaged and crashed while engaging a target.</p>



<p>Yurii Ihnat, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, said that the attack involved drones and various types of missiles, targeting almost the entire country, including western regions. Poland&#8217;s air force reported on Sunday that they had to deploy aircraft to ensure airspace security in response to the Russian attack.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Missiles Used in the Russian Attack</h2>



<p>Experts suggest that this level of military action could hinder peace talks. They noted that Russia used cruise, ballistic, and hypersonic missiles, along with false targets, to confuse Ukrainian defence systems.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Support for Ukraine</h2>



<p>Ukraine continues to receive support from European countries. The Netherlands and Denmark provided Ukraine with its first batch of F-16 fighter jets, which are being operated with American training and technical support. One of the final two F-16 aircraft was reportedly sent to Ukraine from Volkel Airbase on 26 May 2025, but the loss of another aircraft further strains Ukraine&#8217;s air defence capabilities.</p>

According to railway officials, coaches of various classes have been added to a total of 46 pairs of trains, including Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai, Bikaner-Dadar-Bikaner, Udaipur City-Jaipur-Udaipur City, Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaipur, Ajmer-Amritsar-Ajmer, and Madar-Kolkata-Madar Express.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Puri-Jodhpur to Operate on Altered Route</h2>



<p>Due to yard remodelling work at Sambalpur station of the East Coast Railway, two pairs of trains of the North Western Railway are being operated on a diverted route. According to railway officials, the Puri-Lalgarh and Puri-Jodhpur trains will operate via Sarla-Sambalpur City until 27 August, the Jodhpur-Puri train until 30 August, and the Lalgarh-Puri train until 31 August.</p>

Jaipur: Narayan Singh Circle Foot Overbridge to Be Shifted, CCTV Cameras Planned


<p>Three months have passed since the bus stand was removed from Narayan Singh Tiraha in Jaipur, the capital city, but no significant improvement has been seen in the area. Therefore, CCTV cameras will now be installed within a one-kilometre radius of the intersection. Cameras will also be installed for surveillance around the bus stands operating near the Rotary Circle of Transport Nagar and near Bajri Mandi. This work will be carried out by the DOIT.</p>



<p>According to JDA officials, the foot overbridge built at Narayan Singh Tiraha is planned to be shifted to India Gate, Pratap Nagar. After this, the intersection will be beautified, and encroachments along the roadside will be removed. Buses stopping here will be fined online.</p>



<p>The administration&#8217;s effort is to ensure that buses coming from and going to Delhi and Agra routes stop only in Transport Nagar, and passengers alight there. After that, the buses will go directly to Sindhi Camp. However, the practical situation is that buses are still stopping around Narayan Singh Tiraha, and passengers are alighting there.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Amenities to be Improved</h2>



<p>The bus stand shifted to Transport Nagar lacks basic amenities. The Heritage Nagar Nigam will develop facilities for passengers there. High-mast lights will be installed to solve the problem of darkness at night. Also, permanent shade will be provided for protection from sun and rain. The temporary tents currently in place have been damaged.</p>

<p>From Prithviraj T-Point to Narayan Singh Tiraha, from Narayan Singh Tiraha to RBI Tiraha, from RBI to Prithviraj Marg T-Point, from Narayan Singh Tiraha to Trimurti Circle, and from Trimurti Circle to Narayan Singh Tiraha.</p>



<p>The bus stand has been shifted from the intersection to Transport Nagar, and the area has been declared a no-parking zone. Despite this, the movement of buses remains the same. Buses are being stopped on Tonk Road near the intersection.</p>

Shefali Jariwala&#39;s Death: Police Reveal New Details Three Days Later

<p><strong>Shefali Jariwala Death:</strong> Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away at the young age of 42. While initial reports suggested a heart attack on Friday night before she could reach the hospital, a new revelation has emerged 72 hours later from the preliminary police investigation report. Police stated on Sunday that a sudden drop in blood pressure caused her to lose consciousness at home, resulting in her death before she could be admitted to hospital.</p>

<p>Can low blood pressure be fatal? The preliminary test report obtained by the Amboli police on Sunday sheds light on this. <p>Texas Super Kings captain Faf du Plessis has created history in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025. Faf Du Plessis has become the first player to score three centuries in the MLC.</p>



<p>In the 21st match of the season against MI New York, Faf du Plessis played a magnificent unbeaten innings of 103 runs off 53 balls, smashing nine sixes and five fours.</p>



<p>Earlier this season, on June 20th, Faf du Plessis scored a century against San Francisco Unicorns, reaching 100 runs off 51 balls. He also achieved a century on July 8th, 2024, against Washington Freedom, scoring 100 runs from 58 balls.</p>



<p>In the Texas Super Kings vs MI New York match, Texas Super Kings, after losing the toss, batted first and scored 223 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted 20 overs. They received an early setback in the second over with the loss of Samit Patel (3) when the score was just three runs.</p>



<p>From there, Faf du Plessis, playing a captain&#8217;s innings, partnered with Saiteja Mukkamalla for an 80-run second-wicket stand. Mukkamalla contributed 25 runs off 18 balls, including three fours. After Mukkamalla&#8217;s dismissal, Du Plessis added a further 57 runs with Marcus Stoinis, who scored 25 runs from 22 balls.</p>



<p>The team had lost three wickets at 140 runs. Faf du Plessis then shared an 81-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Donovan Ferreira. Ferreira played a whirlwind innings of 53 runs off just 20 balls, hitting five sixes and three fours, while Faf du Plessis remained unbeaten on 103. For MI New York, George Linde and Rushil Ugarukar took two wickets each.</p>

<p><strong>MP News:</strong> Steps have been taken to expedite the process of constructing a four-lane highway on the Badnawar-Petlawad-Thandla route in Madhya Pradesh. The government administration has published a notification in the gazette for land acquisition along this route. Based on this gazette notification, the Sub-Divisional Officer of the area has been authorised to acquire the land. They will complete the land acquisition process.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Land Acquisition from these Villages</h2>



<p>The gazette notification also published a list of villages and towns where land will be acquired. According to this, authorities have been designated to acquire land from large towns such as Petlawad, Karadwad, and Sarangi in Petlawad tehsil, as well as from villages including Naharpura, Unnai, Temaria, Panthborali, Bachikheda, Chhawni, Bhabrapada, Kundiapada, Hindola, Bawdi, Bengnbardi, Chayanpada, Mohanpura, Kasarbardi, Khoria, and Chhoti Bolasa. Similar authorisations have been issued for villages in Badnawar and Thandla tehsils.</p>

<p>The Badnawar-Petlawad-Thandla route has become a puzzle for the local residents, a puzzle everyone is trying to solve. Solving this puzzle will benefit some and harm others, as the businesses in the entire area are currently concentrated around the existing two-lane road.</p>

<p>Regarding statements about road construction, residents of Sarangi recently protested at Sarangi Chaupati against the construction of an overbridge. The Sarangi residents claim that the construction of such an overbridge will completely shut down the employment opportunities at the Chaupati. Meanwhile, speculation is rife regarding the route between Karadwad and Petlawad; the exact path of the road remains uncertain.</p>
