MP News: A shocking incident has come to light from Indore, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh. An 18-year-old boy died of a heart attack a day before his birthday. Late at night, the student suddenly experienced severe chest pain and palpitations. His family rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.



The incident is reported from the Dwarkapuri area. 18-year-old Arjun suddenly fell ill on Saturday night. His family took him to a private hospital, from where doctors, citing his critical condition, referred him to MY Hospital. He was declared dead shortly after treatment began. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.



Arjun&#8217;s maternal uncle stated that around 3 am, Arjun began experiencing severe palpitations followed by intense chest pain. Everyone was asleep at the time. When Arjun&#8217;s condition suddenly deteriorated, his family rushed him to the hospital.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Family from Panna District</h2>



The family is from Panna district. The father, Jawahar, is a vegetable vendor. Arjun was studying in his first year in Indore. The student&#8217;s family includes his parents and an elder sister, who is married.

MP News: The Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Board, Bhopal, has provided significant relief to students who failed or received supplementary results in their class 10th and 12th examinations. The board (Madhya Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal or MPBSE) will now conduct higher secondary and high school examinations twice a year, giving students a second chance to pass.



Under the new system, the supplementary examination provision is also being eliminated. This government initiative will benefit 10,369 students in the district. The government has issued orders in this regard.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Examinations to be Held Twice a Year</h2>



Currently, class 10th and 12th board examinations are held in February and March each year. Many students receive supplementary results or fail. Others miss the exams due to illness or family emergencies. These students previously had to wait a year for the next examination. To address this, the government is introducing a system allowing students to retake the exam within the same year.



The provision of supplementary examinations for students failing one or two subjects is also being abolished. The Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Board will conduct higher secondary and high school examinations twice a year. Students who fail the first examination will now be able to improve their results by taking the second examination. This second examination will likely be held in July/August.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Opportunity for Improvement in Education</h2>

Gold-Silver Rate: Fears of a global recession have intensified, driven by US tariffs and retaliatory measures from countries like China and the EU, targeted by Trump. This has raised concerns about a decline in industrial demand for base metals, including silver. On Friday, silver prices on MCX plummeted by ₹7200 per kilogram, closing at ₹87,270. This marks the single largest daily drop in silver prices. Globally, silver prices fell by 7.5%, settling at $29.5 per ounce. In India, silver price has decreased by over ₹12,000 per kilogram in just two days. On April 2nd, it closed at ₹99,753, while on March 28th, it reached an all-time high of ₹1,00,2040 on MCX.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gold Also Slides</h2>



On MCX, the price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by over ₹2000, settling at ₹87,950. This is the first time that the price of one kilogram of silver on MCX is lower than that of 10 grams of gold. In the global market, gold prices have fallen by over $180 per ounce in two days. Gold prices in the bullion markets also fell by ₹1000 to ₹1500. In Jaipur, 10 grams of 24-carat gold fell to ₹92,800, while silver dropped by ₹4500 to ₹96,000. Meanwhile, in Indore, silver prices decreased by ₹6,000 per kilogram.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Crude Oil Down 14%</h2>



Driven by recession fears and OPEC&#8217;s announcement to increase production, crude oil prices fell by 7%, closing below $65 per barrel. In two days, crude oil prices have dropped by 14%, nearing 2021 lows when prices fell to $40 per barrel. The decline in crude oil and dollar prices strengthened the rupee by 22 paise against the dollar on Friday, closing at ₹85.25. The cheaper crude oil and stronger rupee are expected to benefit the Indian economy, which imports 80% of its crude oil.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Date 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a revised schedule for the Assistant Loco Pilot exam. According to the new schedule, the RRB ALP CBT 2 exam will be held on 2nd and 6th May 2025. The exam was previously scheduled for 19th and 20th March but was postponed due to technical glitches. The railway board has issued a notice regarding the new exam schedule.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Railway Notice Issued</h2>



The notice issued by the railway states, “The second stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for CEN-01/2024, which was scheduled for 19.03.2025 and 20.03.2025, will now be held on 02.05.2025 and 06.05.2025.” It is worth noting that this railway recruitment drive will fill a total of 18,799 positions.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Exam to be Held in Two Shifts</h2>



The RRB will conduct the ALP CBT 2 in two shifts. The first shift will begin at 7:30 AM and the second shift at 12:30 PM. Exam city slips will be released 10 days prior to the exam, and admit cards will be released four days prior.

Woman Beats Father-in-Law with Stick in Bijnor; Son Films Video

A deeply disturbing incident has come to light in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. A woman brutally beat her elderly father-in-law with sticks while her son filmed the event. The video, which went viral on social media, prompted police action. A property dispute is believed to be the motive. Police have registered a case.

Further investigation identified the location as Suhani village, Bijnor. The video showed the elderly man, Dataram, being assaulted by his daughter-in-law. Following this discovery, police visited the village and conducted a thorough investigation.

It was discovered that Dataram has three sons. Some time ago, he divided his property equally among his three sons. He distributed one bigha of land to each of his three sons from his total four bighas, retaining one bigha for himself. A dispute arose over this remaining one bigha of land. One son&#8217;s wife then beat Dataram with sticks. While this assault was taking place, the victim&#8217;s son filmed the incident. This event has become a subject of much discussion in the area. Police have stated that action is being taken.

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) will take action on April 9th to widen Sirsi Road in Jaipur (from the Jharkhand Mod intersection to 200 feet beyond the bypass bridge). Five teams have been formed by the JDA for this purpose. On Saturday, the JDA teams will arrive on-site and begin the demarcation process.



Previously, the JDA had already marked encroachments within a 2.5 km radius. This road, as per court orders, is proposed to be 160 feet wide. Following the JDA&#8217;s demarcation in November, some individuals removed their encroachments independently. JDA officials state that on November 21st, 2024, the High Court ruled that the road should be constructed according to the zonal plan, which designates it as 160 feet wide.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Five Teams Formed</h2>



The JDA has constituted five teams for demarcation and enforcement. These teams include Deputy Commissioners, Executive Engineers, Enforcement Officers, Tehsildars, Assistant Town Planners, and Junior Engineers. Hemant Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Zone Seven, and Ram Avtar Takhar, Deputy Controller-III of the Enforcement Branch, have been appointed as supervisors.
