
<p><strong>Board Exam 2025:</strong> The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), Bhopal, has revised the dates for the High School and Higher Secondary examinations in 2025. The revised examination schedule has been released, with changes to the exam dates for some subjects. According to the previously released schedule, the Science exam for High School, originally scheduled for 19 March 2025, will now be held on 21 March 2025 (Friday). Similarly, the NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) and Physical Education exams for Higher Secondary, scheduled for 19 March 2025 (Wednesday), will also be held on 21 March 2025.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">MP Board Exam 2025: These are the exam dates</h2>



<p>According to the revised datesheet, the class 12th examination will commence on 25 February 2025 and conclude on 25 March 2025. This examination will be held in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The examination will begin with the Hindi subject and conclude with Mathematics. The class 10th examination will begin on 27 February 2025 and conclude on 21 March 2025. This will also be held in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The class 10th examination will begin with Hindi and conclude with Science.</p>

<p><strong>MP News:</strong> Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr Mohan Yadav hoisted the Tricolour at a ceremony held in Indore&#8217;s Nehru Stadium. Discussions regarding the formation of these two megacities have been ongoing for several months. This development is expected to boost economic growth in the surrounding rural areas.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1450-Kilometre-Long Shriram Van Gaman Path to be Constructed</h2>



<p>CM Mohan announced the decision to construct a 1450-kilometre-long Shriram Van Gaman Path in the state. A plan has also been formulated to connect pilgrimage sites associated with the life of Lord Krishna through the creation of a ‘Shri Krishna Pathey’. He expressed his happiness at the state&#8217;s rich history connected to Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, stating that the government aims to revive this glorious chapter in the state&#8217;s history. The construction of a Gita Bhavan in every urban body has also been approved.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Government to Manage Public Transport</h2>



<p>The CM further stated that Madhya Pradesh was the only state in the country where the absence of a government-run public transport system had led to reliance on private operators. The government has now decided to manage public transport itself, ensuring connectivity from village to village. This will strengthen transport infrastructure in both megacities and rural areas.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Central Government&#8217;s Focus on State Development</h2>



<p>The Chief Minister acknowledged the central government&#8217;s support in various projects, including the metro train project and the Indore-Manmad rail line. The central government has sanctioned ₹3500 crore for national highways. Projects worth ₹350 crore, including an elevated corridor in Indore, have also been approved. Permission has been granted to upgrade the Bhopal-Kanpur economic corridor to a four-lane highway. Significant progress has also been made in expanding aviation services.</p>

73 Nations&#39; Diplomats to Immerse in Maha Kumbha


<p><strong>Mahakumbh 2025:</strong> The Mahakumbh region has now become a spiritual centre for the entire world. For the first time, diplomats from 73 countries are coming to take a holy dip. Notably, the ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine usually considered adversaries, will participate in this historic event. This event will showcase a unique harmony between different cultures and ideologies on the banks of the Ganges. Diplomats from the USA and Bangladesh will also participate in this occasion.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Holy Dip on 1st February</h2>



<p>According to media reports, Maha Kumbha Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand stated that on 1st February, diplomats from 73 countries will come to understand and experience the significance of the Maha Kumbh. The Ministry of External Affairs has sent a letter to the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh in this regard. It mentions that all these diplomats wish to visit the Bade Hanuman Mandir and Akshayavat. They will reach Sangam by boat, take a holy dip, and then visit Akshayavat and Bade Hanuman Mandir.</p>



<p>Following this, they will understand the depth of the Mahakumbh through modern technology via the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Centre. They will also attend exhibitions and cultural tours, including visits to the UP State Pavilion, Akharas, Yamuna Complex, Ashok Stambh, and other sites. A special VIP lounge with breakfast arrangements has been made for foreign guests at Bamrauli Airport. Tour guides will also be present. Special arrangements for boats have been made for 140 personnel from the Ministry of Home Affairs.</p>

Police Raid on Company Bagh; Two Women Arrested in Sex Trade Crackdown in Alwar


<p>City residents will no longer have to feel ashamed to visit Company Bagh. Following an exposé by Rajasthan Patrika newspaper revealing the prevalence of sex trafficking in Company Bagh, a significant police presence was maintained throughout Friday. Around 8 am, male and female police officers in plain clothes took up positions in Company Bagh. Around 10:30 am, the City CO, Angad Sharma, arrived with his team. This police action caused a stir among those involved in the illicit activities. During the operation, police arrested two women involved in sex trafficking. The City CO inspected the Company Bagh for approximately three hours.</p>



<p>He questioned visitors and provided instructions to the police officers. Harmeet Singh Mehandiratta, President of the Joint Traders&#8217; Federation, and Murari Parashar, former president of the Company Bagh Development Committee, were present during this time. It is noteworthy that there had been illicit activities of prostitution taking place openly in Company Bagh for a long time. Rajasthan Patrika exposed this by publishing a report.</p>

<p>A video recently went viral on social media from a government school in Chittorgarh district, Rajasthan. Following this, the school principal and a female teacher were dismissed. However, a photograph of the female teacher is now circulating online. This viral photo, however, is not actually of the teacher.</p>



<p>Since the photo went viral, the woman&#8217;s social media accounts have been flooded with abusive comments. It is now understood that the viral photo is not of the Rajasthan teacher but of Mini Golchha, a digital creator from Madhya Pradesh. The creator has also shared a video on her social media accounts.</p>



<p>In the video, she is heard saying, “My picture is being misused. People are doing this to increase their views, and I have taken action against them. I have filed a complaint with the police and cyber crime cell.”</p>

<p><strong>Maharashtra News:</strong> Following the announcement of a ₹1 per litre reduction in Amul milk prices (for one-litre packs), Maharashtra residents face a blow to their wallets. State transport bus fares have increased by approximately 15 percent, while taxi and auto-rickshaw fares in Mumbai have risen by ₹3.</p>



<p>According to reports, the Maharashtra State Transport Authority (STA) approved a 14.95 percent increase in MSRTC bus fares, effective midnight. A press release from the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Department stated that the STA meeting finalised the fare hike decision.</p>



<p>The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Transport Authority (MMRTA) held a meeting on Friday, deciding to increase the per-kilometre fare for Mumbai&#8217;s black-and-yellow taxis and auto-rickshaws in the Mumbai suburbs by ₹3. This new fare will come into effect from February 1, 2025. Under this, the minimum auto fare will increase from ₹23 to ₹26 from February 1st, while the minimum taxi fare will rise from ₹28 to ₹31.</p>



<p>It should be noted that the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), known as ST buses in the state, is one of the largest public transporters in the country. MSRTC has a fleet of 15,000 buses, carrying 5.5 million passengers daily.</p>


<p>Maharashtra residents face a blow from rising prices. State transport bus fares have been increased. Meanwhile, travel by auto-rickshaw and taxi in Mumbai has also become more expensive.</p>

<p>At least Eight people have died following a massive explosion at an Ordnance Factory in Bhandara. A powerful blast occurred on Friday afternoon at the ordnance factory in Jawahar Nagar, Bhandara.</p>



<p>According to preliminary information, the explosion at the Ordnance Factory took place between 10:30 and 11:15 am. The intensity of the blast was so high that a section of the roof collapsed, trapping more than a dozen workers. Eight deaths have been reported so far, with fears that the death toll may rise. Rescue operations are underway.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">More Than 10 Workers Trapped</h2>



<p>Initial reports indicate that the powerful blast occurred in the RK Branch section of the Ordnance Factory located in Jawahar Nagar, near Bhandara city. The accident is believed to have been caused by an explosion in raw materials used in the manufacture of RDX. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.</p>



<p>Commenting on the explosion at the ordnance factory in Bhandara, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “In the explosion at the ordnance factory in Bhandara district, 13 to 14 workers are reported to be trapped under the collapsed roof. According to preliminary information received so far, unfortunately, one worker has died. Five workers have been rescued.”</p>

<p><strong>Bijapur News:</strong> A 50kg IED (Improvised Explosive Device) was recovered on Thursday on the Basaguda-Awaapalli road in Bijapur district. Naxalites had planted it under a bridge. A Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team was out on demining duty on the road. The IED was detected under the bridge near the Timapur Durga Temple. An attempt was made to remove the IED safely, but due to its depth and safety concerns, it was detonated. The blast created a large crater in the road. However, the police quickly made arrangements for vehicles to pass through.</p>



<p>The alertness of the security forces thwarted a major plot by Maoists in Bijapur. A team conducting demining operations on the Basaguda-Awaapalli road discovered the bomb in time. <p>It is reported that there is a Durga Temple near Timapur on the Basaguda-Awaapalli road. Maoists had planted the bomb under the bridge near the temple. As soon as the BDS team reached the bridge, their metal detectors indicated the presence of a bomb. The BDS team immediately defused the bomb on the spot. The sound of the explosion was heard several kilometres away.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bomb Planted Under the Bridge</h2>



<p>The Maoists had planted the bomb under the bridge, concealed among concrete and stones. The personnel initially tried to remove the bomb, but it was deeply embedded. Removing it could have been dangerous. Therefore, the BDS team deemed it safer to defuse the IED on the spot.</p>
